Go Genesis: A Kid’s Card Game Designed to Build a Biblical Worldview—One Joyful Turn at a Time

This is something completely different. What if family game night could double as a moment of spiritual teaching?

That’s the guiding question behind Go Genesis, a vibrant, faith-based card game that brings biblical education into the hands (and hearts) of kids. Designed by a passionate parent, Go Genesis isn’t just about play—it’s about helping children build a strong biblical worldview while having a blast doing it.

“I wanted to create something that would help answer the big questions kids ask,” says the creator. “And I knew it had to be fun, because that’s what sticks.”

With time always feeling in short supply, especially for busy parents, Go Genesis offers a creative solution: combine meaningful faith formation with the joy of game night. “If we can blend fun and biblical education into one resource, that’s a win,” they explain.

A Deck Inspired by Kids—for Kids

The idea for Go Genesis was sparked by real conversations between the creator’s children and their friends—curious minds full of wonder and big questions about life, the universe, and their place in it. “I wanted them to have cool resources that were fun and educational at the same time,” they say. “So I made one.”

And it shows. Every detail of the game is infused with intention. From a surfing T-rex fossil to joyful expressions and retro-inspired linework, each card is designed to radiate joy and energy. “That was my main goal,” they reflect. “For every character and card to exude joy.”

From Dream to Durable Reality

The process wasn’t without its challenges—particularly around research. “The most difficult part was making sure every fact was accurate,” they explain. “There was a lot of pressure to get it right, because this is a resource meant to support real learning.”

But seeing the final result has made all the work worth it. “Honestly, I still stare at the cards in disbelief that what was once just a dream is now a tangible reality making a difference in kids’ lives.”

And parents are responding. Go Genesis has quickly become a go-to gift for faith-based households looking to foster deeper conversations in a playful, engaging way.

A Partnership That Made the Vision Possible

When it came time to bring Go Genesis to life, the creator knew they needed a manufacturer who cared. “I was nervous. This was my first time doing something like this,” they admit. “But after my first phone call with Shuffled Ink, I knew this was a company that would support me every step of the way.”

That confidence was validated through the production process—and especially in the final product. “The quality far surpassed all expectations. The linen texture feels so high-end, and durability was a huge priority for me. I wanted something long-lasting because, let’s be honest, kids are rough on cards!”

From texture to toughness, Shuffled Ink delivered. “They knocked it out of the park and gave me a durable, high-quality product that’s affordable. I really couldn’t ask for more.”

What’s Next for Go Genesis?

The creator isn’t stopping at one deck. A new game, Yom Cube, is already in the works, and it promises to be just as impactful and engaging.

As for the future? “My goal for 2025 is simple: to be diligent in all I do,” they say. And if Go Genesis is any indication, that diligence will continue to make a meaningful difference—one joyful card at a time.
