Art Proofing & Color Considerations

  1. Clients are wholly responsible for the accuracy of digital proofs, this includes all artwork elements – images, colors, layout, positions, text, grammar, spelling, etc.
    • Depending on how files are uploaded to Shuffled Ink, there can be undesired and unintentional changes that occur during content translation
    • Computer screen monitors may not be representative of actual printed colors
  2. Shuffled Ink proudly offers free digital proofs with every order
  3. If you have any color, color matching, or other print concerns, we recommend purchasing a Hard Copy Proof to review before giving approval for full production
  4. While we do offer color matching for all jobs, due to the fundamental nature of printing, we cannot guarantee an exact match throughout an entire production run
  5. For any job with a full bleed solid color, particularly pastels, grays, pinks, purples, light blues and light greens, there may be a subtle color variation that can be seen from card to card
    • To resolve this, we recommend adding a 3/16 inch white border as this will eliminate the visual appearance of the subtle change

Manufacturing & Production

  1. Throughout the production process, slight alignment and registration variance may occur
  2. Our standard margin of error for registration variance is 0.5mm – 1.5mm
  3. Shuffled Ink is not responsible for improper looking borders, or border styled artwork elements, if proofs are approved for artwork with elements existing outside of our recommended artwork safe area
  4. For any job with full bleed artwork, particularly darker colors, there may be slight chipping along the edges of the cards
    • Paper does not always cut with 100% precision, and any slight imperfection will be white (the color of the paper)
    • A white border would resolve this issue, while lighter colors on the edges would mitigate the effect

Invoicing & Payment

  1. Unless otherwise noted, production of all orders manufactured at our Orlando, FL headquarters will not begin until your invoice is paid in full
  2. Orders produced at Shuffled Ink’s overseas facilities require 50% payment at initial proof approval and 50% prior to shipment of order
  3. Due to the customization of your product, all sales are final and cannot be cancelled, disputed or refunded once production has begun
  4. In the event of a production related defect, all issues must be brought to Shuffled Ink’s attention within 7 days of delivery to be eligible for any refund, credit and/or replacement
  5. There will be a $50.00 charge for any returned checks

Turnaround Time & Shipping

  1. While Shuffled Ink quotes jobs based on our Standard Turnaround Time, we will always do everything we can to produce orders as quickly as possible, without sacrificing product quality
  2. Clients are responsible for any expedited shipping charges incurred to deliver an order by a Client’s requested in-hand date
  3. Shuffled Ink is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred as a result of not delivering an order by a Client’s requested in-hand date
  4. Clients are responsible for any taxes, duties or fees incurred for orders shipped outside of the U.S.

Applicable Law; Venue

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America. Each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the closest federal and state courts located in Orange County, State of Florida, United States of America, for the purposes of any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement. Each party consents to such jurisdiction and agrees that venue shall lie therein with respect to any claim or cause of action arising under or relating to this Agreement. Each party waives any objection based on forum non conveniens and waives any objection to venue of any action instituted hereunder. In any suit or proceeding between the parties relating to this Agreement, the prevailing party will have the right to recover from the other party its costs and reasonable fees and expenses of attorneys, accountants, and other professionals incurred in connection with the suit or proceeding, including costs, fees and expenses upon appeal, separately from and in addition to any other amount included in such judgment.

Changes to Shuffled Ink’s Terms & Conditions

  • Shuffled Ink reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time
  • We ask that you check and review these Terms & Conditions for such changes on an occasional basis, or at least prior to placing any order with us
  • Should you not agree to any existing or updated provision stated, we ask and advise that you inform us immediately
